learning to love making

this is not a guide to love-making, this is an article about craftsmanship.

Preparing the van is a pain, a pain I’m making for myself. It doesn’t have to be this way but its how I made it. Perhaps its my desire to learn that drives me to do the most complicated and convoluted solutions to things.

For example:

My former fed-ex van came with a security/backup camera. I wanted to mount it where the rearview mirror was, I learned how to 3D print and modify this socket joint to have it fit with the space. This worked but given the length of the socket the angle ended up facing upwards when it should be facing downwards towards the driver.
