Within corporate culture its much like an obedient dog. A good dog is one that behaves well to the owner and listens, obedience is also retardation. a dog that does its own thing and lives by its own virtues is that of a wolf, a kind that would bite a human. Humans don’t like that because of it’s lack of retardation, we cant get it to submit to us. Working in corporate can be like that, its the subtle signs telling you to work more. Performance reviews of “excellence” needing to take more on, start more initiatives. Those who do rank up are often the obedient dogs. Not all cases are like this, some people need the money, they dont have the opportunity to leave because of external factors, so they become obedient and beat down by the system. They fall into the same neoliberal ideology that it is on them. Not that the company is exploiting them and squeezing as much out of them as they can.
